How we got your data, and how to remove it

Where our information comes from

We build a picture of hairdressers and salons across South West from public sources. Every listing shows which of them each fact came from, and when we collected it.

We do not buy contact lists, and we do not sell yours.

What we do with it

We publish a free local directory and we tell people about support they are eligible for in their council area. We rely on legitimate interests for the directory; we only send marketing email to people who have asked for it. The full notice sets out both.

Your rights

You can ask to see what we hold, correct it, or have it deleted. Use the form below, or email hello@cornwallhairdressers.co.uk. If you are not happy with how we respond you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.

Remove my listing

Two things happen, at different speeds. The listing comes down immediately — no proof needed, because that is what you asked for and we can always put it back. Deleting the information behind it waits for either a click on a link we email to the address we already hold, or a person reading the request. That one is irreversible, and a listing address by itself does not tell us who is asking.

If you give us this, the listing disappears as soon as you press Send.

If it matches the address we hold for that business, you can confirm the deletion yourself and skip the wait.
